COVID-19 Information

For your safety and the safety of our staff, visitors, exhibitors, and partners, EXPO CHICAGO is closely monitoring changing CDC safety protocols and continually observing COVID-19 precautions in-line with the State of Illinois and City of Chicago mandates. As we approach April, we will continue to evaluate and implement the necessary protocols to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. More information regarding those protocols can be found below. As protocols shift, we will continuously update this information.

Vaccinations

(As of January 3, 2022) All attendees, staff, exhibitors, and vendors five years and older are required to show proof of full vaccination. Those 16 years of age and older will also be required to show a valid photo ID that matches their vaccination card.

Proof of vaccination can be demonstrated by showing one of the following along with a valid photo ID:

  • A vaccination card
  • A photo of the vaccination card on a printed document
  • A photo of the vaccination card on an electronic device or within a mobile app
  • A printed record from a vaccination or healthcare provider

Anyone who has received a medical or religious exemption must show proof of the exemption and provide a negative PCR test for COVID-19, administered by a medical professional within 72 hours of visiting or working at EXPO CHICAGO.

Masks

Masks are required to be worn at all times inside the venue by all attendees, staff, exhibitors, and vendors, and are to be properly worn so that they fully cover the nose and mouth. The following will not be considered acceptable masks for entry:

  • Face shields
  • Bandanas
  • Gaiters
  • Masks made of mesh materials
  • Masks with holes or air valves

Face masks will be made available at the EXPO CHICAGO Information desk for those in need of one.
